the BEL website failing which, candidates will be considered under ‘General’
category, provided they are otherwise meeting all other criteria stipulated for General
Candidates.
- For Candidates belonging to Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category
having minimum 40% disability will get 10 (ten) years relaxation in addition to the
relaxation applicable to SC/ST/OBC mentioned above.

TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT & REMUNERATION:
- Project Engineer-I
For Vizag location (52 posts) the duration is for 2years the candidates will be paid a consolidated
remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- and Rs. 45,000/- during the 1st and 2nd year of contract.
- For New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bangalore locations (58 posts) the initial duration is for 3 years
which can be extended upto one more year (total 4 years duration) based on project requirement
and individual performance .The Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.
40,000/- Rs. 45,000/- Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 55,000/-during the 1st, 2nd , 3rd and 4th year of contract respectively
- However, if any candidate has completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and
has applied for Project Engineer post he/she will be directly inducted as Project Engineer–II. The
remuneration of such candidates will be Rs.45.000/- for the 1st year, Rs. 50,000/- for 2nd year and
Rs.55,000/- for the 3rd year. The overall tenure will be limited to 3 years only.

QUALIFICATION:
- Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg course from reputed Institute/University in the following
Engineering disciplines – Electronics/Telecommunication/Electronics &
Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electrical and Electronics/
Electrical/Communication/Mechanical/Computer Science/Computer Science &
Engineering/Computer Science Engineering / Information Science/ Information Technology.

Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE/ B.Tech/Bsc Engg:
- General/OBC/EWS: 55% & above
- PwBD/SC/ST: Pass class
|
MODE OF SELECTION:
- The Mode of Selection shall be through WALK-IN SELECTION at 3 Centres- Jammu,
Ranchi and Guwahati. Interested Candidates may clearly choose the location they would
like to attend the Walk in selections in the online application link (Google form)
appended to this advertisement. The detailed venue and address of the 3 locations where
the Walk in will be held will be published in BEL website career section along with the
list of candidates who meet all the criteria as laid in advertisement. The Walk in location
may change in case the number of applicants is less for that particular location.
- Further candidates meeting the qualifying criteria as specified in the advertisement shall
mandatorily register through the Google Form. Written test will be conducted for 85
marks for candidates meeting the stipulated eligibility criteria. Candidates passing the
written test will be shortlisted for the interviews based on the above, in the ratio of 1:5.
The Interviews will be conducted after the written test results are announced. Hence,
candidates may make travel plans accordingly. Passing marks for General/EWS/OBC is
35% for Written test & Interview and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD

DOCUMENTS TO BE BROUGHT FOR SELECTION:
- Applicants Bio data form duly filled with recent photograph attached.
- SSLC/Matriculation Certificate for Proof of Age.
- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg Certificate.
- Mark sheets of all the semesters.
- CGPA Conversion Certificate from concerned University (wherever applicable)
Valid Caste Certificate (if belonging to EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWBD).
Proof of Identity- Aadhar/Voter ID/Driving license/Any other Govt. approved identity
document.
- Two copies of recent passport size photograph.
- Post qualification experience certificate/s from previous / current employer. Where
current employment certificate is not produced the offer of current employment, latest
pay slip and employee ID proof should be compulsorily attached.
- Candidates if working in PSUs/ Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit ‘No
Objection Certificate’ at the time of application or Written Test.
