🔹 SSC MTS Selection Process (Latest Pattern)

Stage 1: Computer Based Examination (CBE)

The SSC MTS Exam consists of a single stage of Computer-Based Test (CBT). There is no Tier-II (descriptive paper) anymore.

Stage 2: PET/PST (Only for Havaldar Post)

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who qualify in CBT and PET/PST (if applicable) will be called for Document Verification. Final selection is based on merit in CBE.


Final Merit:

  • Based on marks in CBE.

  • Separate merit lists for:

    • MTS (age group 18–25 years)

    • MTS (age group 18–27 years)

    • Havaldar posts
